I had the incredible opportunity to join a spring roll and sauce cooking class while in Ha Long Bay Vietnam, i was delightfully taken aback by this simple, yet flavor complex sauce! It is typically made with garlic and chilies, I added dill to mine to add a sweetness and i think it is amazing! This sauce is great for dipping salad rolls, marinating fish, on rice or vermicelli noodles.
  • 2 tbsp water
  • ½ tbsp rice vinegar
  • ½ tbsp fish sauce
  • ½ tbsp lime juice
  • ½ tbsp fresh dill - diced
  • 1.5 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1 garlic clove diced
  • 1 fresh red chili sliced thinly - wear gloves
  1. Add all ingredients together and mix well, allow sauce to sit for as long as possible prior to eating to allow the flavors to release. enjoy!
